ABOUT HANS
Hans Vercauteren (b.1990) is a conductor, composer, orchestrator and music producer/director.
He has an extensive experience in leading and creating music for film and theatre,
including opera, musical and ballet.
As a composer his concert music has a distinct and programmatic vision.
His works have been performed by e.g. Casco Phil, Orchestre National the Lille,
Opera Ballet Flanders, Spectra Ensemble.
Together with his partner Lente Verelst he founded Story Tree,
a new music theatre production company.
Hans is a graduate from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp
and the Royal College of Music (London). He was an RCM Award Holder
supported by a Musicians' Company Lambert Studentship.
As a conductor he recently debuted at L'Orchestre Philharmonique de Lièges.
As orchestrator he has worked for houses as Birmingham Royal Ballet, Swedish Royal Opera, Opera Ballet Flanders and the Royal Ballet Opera (London).
Hans frequently works as a producer/music director during audiorecordings for Motormusic Studios.
